Floating around the hinterland on a work day ain’t too shabby! On Wednesday Spelly and I went on a ‘crystal seeking mission’ at Crystal Castle
and of course I tried to take the sneaky back-streets through the Hinterland and got lost. It doesn’t really matter when you get lost in these parts though, because a detour almost always ends in the discovery of a romantically dilapidated corrugated iron shed, or perfect field of daisies or some such lovely location perfect for a quick photo shoot.
The first lot of pics are of Spell swirling around in our Mum’s old Batik skirt. Isn’t it awesome when you can inherit your mums old clothes from the 70s? I’ve posted a photo below of mum wearing the same skirt when we were just little girls. I remember I used to hide under it in public if I was feeling particularly timid (which was a lot of the time when I was little), the split made for easy access.
