One of our fave Aussie blogger/instagrammers Naomi Kent’s wedding has been approaching for months, it’s been so inspiring watch her instagram feed full of wedding/hens inspired imagery… She’s been generous enough to share the pics of her Festival inspired Hen’s night (or bachelorette party) with us, not just because she (and a few of her best-girls) are dressed in Spell, but because I pestered her to send me the pics ; )

Now, I’ll admit, as a blushing bride-to-be myself (albeit it being a 5 year engagement – so far…) the Bachelorette party is something that has always chilled me to the bone. I picture drunk women, polyester veils adorned with plastic penises, strippers, and generally every nightmarish stereotype that is everything I’m not. But lucky for me, in my lifetime I’ve been to plenty of classy, gorgeous, love-filled Hens that are nothing like that at all – and Naomi’s was no exception. Under the one brief instruction from Naomi, ‘a Festival themed Bachelorette party‘ her bridesmaids pulled together the ‘Festival of Nay’ – a gorgeous sisterly-love-filled night full of Woodstock-inspired teepees, face-painting, festival lanyards, bohemian inspired decorations, fringing, 70s bells, floral headcrowns and with those darling slushie machines am sure there was a bit of booze too ;)…Love it!

Now… um… back to organising my own wedding… eeeek.
